Supply Chain Update – Impact of Middle East Conflict

Mar 30, 2026 | Latest News

Dear Valued Customer,

We are writing to inform you of a developing situation that may impact the supply and cost of our products.

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, we are beginning to see early signs of disruption within the global supply chain, particularly affecting the freight and availability and cost of key raw materials used in the manufacture of high voltage capacitors.

At Hivolt Capacitors Limited, our production processes rely on a range of critical materials, including polypropylene, paper film, and various insulating oils. Many of these, along with other essential components, are sourced from suppliers across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Although this communication is precautionary at this stage, several of our suppliers have already issued notifications indicating potential price increases and supply constraints. We are closely monitoring the situation and are actively working to manage any cost impacts as effectively as possible.

However, should these increases become significant or unavoidable, we may need to review our pricing accordingly. This could include adjustments that may affect existing purchase orders that have already been accepted and acknowledged. We will, of course, communicate any such changes with you as early and transparently as possible.

Please be assured that we are doing everything within our control to minimise disruption and maintain continuity of supply.

Should you have any questions or wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact either Rene Marges (Supply Chain Manager), Joe Fisher (Managing Director), or myself who are available to support you.

We greatly value your continued partnership and cooperation during this challenging time.
